Over the course of human history, billions of us have benefited from the beautiful feeling of companionship we get from sharing our lives with our furry feline friends. If we had never decided to domesticate cats, we wouldn't get to appreciate the wonders of being woken in by mysterious yowling in the middle of the night, or accidentally stepping hairballs into the carpet.

In all seriousness, though, there's a reason that we've kept at keeping cats in our homes for such a long time. They're very cute, can be very affectionate (when they want to be), and most importantly of all, they are very entertaining goofballs. This is why they've had a chokehold on the world of memes for such a long time. There is an endless amount of funny feline content out there, so it's only fair that we capitalize on it once in a while. All the cat appreciators out there need their fix.
